Eat Paint Studio (2018 – 2022) was located at 5036 N Lincoln Ave in the Lincoln Avenue North Arts District (LANA), close to public transportation and metered parking. Chicago artist Emily Rapport opened the gallery in 2018 with an aim toward combining her studio practice with a public exhibit space. The gallery mission is to engage people in the art-making process and, through exhibitions in its storefront gallery, to integrate art into daily lived experience.
Eat Paint Studio is now 100% virtual.

Emily Rapport
A painter, Emily Rapport studied art in the late 90’s at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Seeking involvement in a creative community, Emily began volunteering her time and talents with several arts organizations, among them the fledgling “ArtWalkRavenswood” (c. 2005). Emily became the first Executive Director of the Ravenswood ArtWalk in 2007, building the first organization website and growing the local arts tour to 51 venues and over 300 participating artists.
In 2018, Emily opened a public gallery and working studio space at 5036 N Lincoln Ave, named “Eat Paint Studio”. The physical space closed in September 2022.
