Mark Rogovin, the son of Milton Rogovin, was in need of a website redesign for his father’s social documentary photo site. With thousands of photographs in archives and in prominent museum collections, the family-run site was in need of a massive design overhaul to make Milton’s work searchable and more user-friendly. The primary purpose fo the site is educational so we we needed to make several tools available to users: critical essays, PDF downloads and guides, photo-series slide shows and media presentations.

Eat Paint Studio looked to the Magnum website for design inspiration, and developed a custom slideshow for each photo-series with related resources displayed in an informational panel. We created a blog for Mark to keep the site current with news of a more ephemeral nature. Eat Paint Studio also contacted the administrator of a Facebook fanpage for Milton Rogovin and got Admin access so the family could keep the 500+ fans and keep them updated on exhibits and projects.
